The Places I Loved Enough to Visit Twice in Boracay
I'm the kind of traveler who almost never eats at the same restaurant twice.
There are simply too many amazing places to discover, and one of my favorite parts of traveling is trying something new every day. Whether it's a hidden café, a local restaurant, or a tiny dessert shop, I'm always curious to see what I can find next.
So, when I returned to Boracay in 2026 after first visiting in 2025, I surprised myself.
Instead of spending every meal searching for new places, I found myself returning to restaurants and cafés that had stayed in my mind long after my first trip. Some of them served incredible food, others had beautiful views, and a few simply made me feel happy every time I walked through the door.
These aren't necessarily "the best restaurants in Boracay" according to online rankings. They're simply the places that impressed me enough that I genuinely wanted to experience them again. If I had another trip to Boracay tomorrow, every single place on this list would be on my itinerary once again.
Café Maruja

If I had to recommend one café where you can truly soak in the atmosphere of White Beach, Café Maruja would be near the top of my list.
The café is beautifully designed with a relaxed tropical atmosphere, and one of its most recognizable features is the swing seating overlooking the beach. There's just something incredibly relaxing about gently swinging while sipping a coffee or cocktail as the ocean stretches out in front of you.
I personally loved visiting either early in the morning or around sunset.
The mornings are peaceful, with White Beach still quiet before the island fully wakes up. It's the perfect time to enjoy breakfast while listening to the waves and watching Boracay slowly come to life.
In the evening, the atmosphere becomes completely different. The beach fills with people waiting for sunset, and Café Maruja becomes one of the most beautiful places to sit back, enjoy delicious food, and watch the sky transform into shades of orange, pink, and gold.
Whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a drink, this is one of those places that perfectly captures the relaxed spirit of Boracay.
Aplaya

Aplaya will always have a special place in my heart because it was the very first restaurant where I ate after arriving in Boracay.
Sometimes your first meal in a new destination becomes part of the memory, and that's exactly what happened here.
The design is simple yet beautiful, creating a relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you want to slow down. I remember sitting comfortably on one of the couches while palm trees formed a natural canopy overhead, creating a peaceful tropical setting that felt like something out of a vacation postcard.
The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the entire experience made such a great first impression that I knew I wanted to return during my second visit.
I'm so glad I did.
It was just as good as I remembered.
Percy Seafood

I honestly don't know why this only happens with Percy Seafood...
But every single time I decide to eat here, I somehow walk right past it.
I don't know if it's because I'm distracted by everything happening around D'Mall or because I'm busy taking photos, but I somehow manage to miss the restaurant almost every time. Eventually I gave up trying to find it on my own and simply started opening Google Maps—even though I already knew where it was supposed to be.
Once I finally arrive, though, I instantly remember why I keep coming back.
I'm a huge seafood lover, and Percy Seafood quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in Boracay. Everything I've tried has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
Their Tom Yum soup deserves its own special mention. It arrives served inside a teapot, which immediately caught my attention, but what impressed me even more was the flavor. To this day, it's honestly one of the best Tom Yum soups I've ever had.
I've also tried several seafood dishes here, and every visit has been consistently excellent. If you enjoy seafood as much as I do, I have a feeling you'll leave this place just as happy.
Kombu Japanese Bistro

If you're a sushi lover...
You absolutely need to visit Kombu Japanese Bistro.
Unlike many restaurants on this list, it's not located directly on White Beach, so you'll need to walk a little farther to get there.
Trust me.
It's worth every step.
I love sushi, and after discovering Kombu during my first trip, I knew I wanted to come back in 2026. The fish was fresh, the sushi was beautifully prepared, and every meal reminded me why Japanese cuisine is one of my favorites.
Sometimes it's worth leaving the beachfront for an exceptional meal, and Kombu is one of those places.
Jeepney Stop
📍 Address: Phase IV D Mall, Malay, Aklan, Philippines
Whenever I travel, I always try to experience at least a little bit of the local cuisine.
Boracay has fantastic international restaurants, but I also wanted to taste more Filipino flavors, which is exactly what brought me to Jeepney Stop.
The restaurant is colorful, lively, and inspired by the iconic Filipino jeepneys, making it feel fun from the moment you walk inside.
During my visits, I ordered several different dishes, including squid, seafood, and salted eggs. If you've made it this far through this article, you've probably realized that seafood is usually my first choice whenever I see it on a menu.
Everything I tried was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, making this another restaurant that earned a second visit during my return to Boracay.
If you'd like to experience more local Filipino-inspired dishes during your vacation, Jeepney Stop is definitely worth adding to your list.
Coco Mama
📍 Address: D'Mall Avenue, Boracay, 5608 Aklan, Philippines
No Boracay trip would feel complete without stopping at Coco Mama.
I first discovered it in 2025 and immediately understood why so many people recommend it.
Their famous coconut ice cream is served inside a real coconut shell and topped with fresh tropical ingredients that somehow come together perfectly.
When I returned in 2026, one thing had definitely changed—the line was much longer.
Apparently I wasn't the only person who had fallen in love with this place.
Thankfully, the dessert was every bit as good as I remembered, and I happily found myself sitting under the palm trees enjoying another coconut bowl.
If you're only planning to try one dessert in Boracay, Coco Mama would still be my first recommendation.
D'Mall Fruit Market
📍 Location: D'Mall, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines
One of my favorite little daily rituals wasn't actually eating in a restaurant.
Almost every evening, I'd stop by the fruit market inside D'Mall before heading back to my hotel.
The fruit was incredibly fresh, colorful, and surprisingly affordable. Mangoes, dragon fruit, pineapple, mangosteen, watermelon—there was always something that looked impossible to resist.
Sometimes I'd buy a few pieces of fruit and simply enjoy them later while relaxing after another incredible day on the island.
It's such a simple experience, but somehow it became one of my favorite memories from Boracay.
Final Thoughts
Boracay has hundreds of wonderful restaurants, cafés, dessert shops, and beachfront bars. Realistically, it's impossible to try them all during a single vacation.
These are simply the places that stayed with me long after my first trip and made me genuinely excited to return during my second visit in 2026.
