What to Buy in Boracay: My Favorite Souvenirs to Bring Home

Every time I travel somewhere new, I love bringing home souvenirs—not just for myself, but also for my family and friends.

One of my favorite shops was located near Epic Café in the D'Mall area.

During the evenings, an artist sits outside the store and hand-paints beautiful Boracay-inspired artwork directly onto T-shirts.

Watching the paintings come to life was almost as enjoyable as buying them.

I ended up bringing home several shirts because the designs were so unique. Some featured palm trees, tropical scenery, fish skeleton artwork, and other beach-inspired illustrations that felt much more artistic than typical souvenir clothing.

I know magnets are probably the most classic travel souvenir in the world...

...but I still buy one almost everywhere I travel.

6. Handmade Bags and Woven Accessories

If you have a little extra room in your suitcase, you'll also find beautiful woven bags, hats, and other handmade accessories throughout Boracay.

Many of them have a relaxed tropical style that's perfect for summer vacations and beach trips long after you've returned home.

Even if you don't buy one, they're definitely worth browsing while walking through D'Mall.

Everyone shops differently while traveling.

Some people collect magnets, others buy clothing, while some prefer local food or handmade crafts.

For me, the souvenirs that made the biggest impression were the ones that reminded me of Boracay's relaxed island atmosphere. The dried mangoes were a huge success with my family, the seashell jewelry made thoughtful gifts, and I still wear the hand-painted T-shirts I brought home.
