Two Hidden Beaches in Boracay You’ll Fall in Love With
Two of My Favorite Beaches You Might Not Have Heard About
When people think of Boracay, the first thing that comes to mind is usually the iconic White Beach — and for good reason. It’s stunning, central, and full of energy. But if you're like me and love discovering hidden gems, then let me show you two beaches in Boracay that absolutely stole my heart — away from the crowds and chaos.
1. Diniwid Beach — The Quiet Escape Just Minutes Away
Located just a short walk from Station 1, Diniwid Beach is a serene little cove that offers peace, calm, and a different vibe than the busy White Beach.
The path there? A bit of an adventure. It’s a rocky cliffside walkway, so if you’re afraid of heights, it might be better to admire it from a video first. But if you’re okay with a little thrill, you’ll be rewarded with a beach that feels like your own private escape.
The scenery is beautiful — calm waves, boats swaying gently, and dramatic cliffs surrounding you. It's not totally deserted, but it’s far quieter than the main stretch. I loved coming here early in the morning when it was just me, my camera, and the sound of the Sulu Sea.

2. Ilig Iligan Beach — A Remote Paradise Worth the Ride
Now this one… caught me completely off guard.
Ilig Iligan Beach was part of a land tour I did around Boracay, and I wasn’t expecting much. But when I got there — wow. This beach is pure tranquility: wide open shorelines, crystal-clear water, and barely anyone around. It felt untouched. It was one of those places where time just slows down.
It took about 30 minutes on a tuk-tuk to reach it, and since my hotel was closer to more central beaches, I didn’t return again during my trip. But if I go back? Ilig Iligan is definitely on my list.

Final Thoughts
Whether you’re in the mood for a peaceful walk from the bustling White Beach or a mini adventure across the island, these two spots deliver something special.
Diniwid is perfect for a quiet sunrise and a solo swim.
Ilig Iligan is your chance to feel like you’ve stepped onto your own private island.
Both beaches made me fall in love with the other side of Boracay — the slower, softer side that not everyone gets to see.
Planning your trip?
Make sure you visit at least one of them — and go early! Morning light, cooler air, and no crowds. Trust me, it’s worth setting the alarm for.
